Made from 75% sugar cane and 25% rag, this acid free 280gsm natural white paper, is extremely age resistant and offers excellent quality at a fine price. Well suited as a mixed media paper, it is ideal for an array of different mediums including watercolours, pastels and acrylics because of its rough surface. For the production of this paper, Lana uses a so-called ‘Bagasse’ pulp that is extracted from the sugar cane production waste - while the cotton fibres come from recycled-paper remains of the paper production circuit. Lana Sugar Cane Blocks are available in an array of sizes or in loose sheets of 10. The paper has a warm tone which allows for excellent contrast, colour vibrancy and a brilliant flow of colour ensuring high luminosity.
